I love seafood and always have. I have been craving a good, not store bought, alfredo sauce. What I like to do is look at the base of a recipe and then change it to add a new twist!
Living in Florida now I have started to look to some more tropical flavors! With this I took from my favorite pie-key lime- and added this twist to the sauce! WOW! It turned out so good and all the flavors blended so well. The only thing missing was some fresh bread!
1 1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 cup butter
2 TBLS sweet rice flour
5 oz - 3 cheese blend. If you do not like the strong flavors of these cheeses just use parmesan.
2 tsp garlic powder
3 TBLS keylime seasoning
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary or 1 tsp fresh rosemary
pepper to taste.
in a sauce pan combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and butter. when butter has melted add the 2 Tbls sweet rice flour and mix until smooth. Once smooth add the 5 oz of cheese stir until mel
ted. Add in the garlic powder, keylime seasoning, rosemary and pepper.
mix well serve over your choice of noodles and enjoy!
