Recipe;
Slice 1 loaf of NeeNee bread into 1/2 inch cubes. Place on a cookie sheet and place in oven at 300* until dry. Or if you make the bread ahead of time let dry on counter and store in an airtight container.
Preheat oven 350 if not cooking in a turkey.
6-8 cups Bread Cubes
2 Tbls Parsley
1 1/2 Tsp Poultry Seasoning
1 tsp Basil
1/2 Tsp Pepper
1 Tsp Celery Salt
1 Tsp Garlic Powder or 6 Fresh Garlic Cloves Grated
1 Tsp Thyme
1 Tbls Sage
6 Tbls butter
1 large onion dices
1 cup celery diced
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
In a skillet place butter and melt, add onion and celery add garlic if using fresh. Cook until onion is soft. Add seasoning and sauteed veggies to the bread crumbs and mix well. Add chicken broth mix until all bread crumbs are moist. add salt to taste. Place in a well greased bundt pan cover with tin foil bake 1 hr and 15 min on 350* .
